Application of graphene supercapacitor batteries in aerospace

 We are actively exploring the application of graphene supercapacitor batteries in the aerospace field with Tsinghua University, and have completed various trials of Tsinghua satellite battery packs based on current capacitor products. Including routine and type screening tests of monomers and acceptance tests of positive prototypes, including tests of mechanics, thermal vacuum, and low-temperature discharge. At 12:01 on August 6, 2020, the Long March 2D carrier rocket launched the Gaofen 9 04 satellite and Tsinghua Science Satellite into the scheduled orbit at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center of my country. The launch mission was a complete success. The driving electromagnetic separation mechanism has withstood the test of rocket launch and space environment.

In order to solve the reliability problem of the locking and release of the spherical satellite during the launch flight, the team independently developed an electromagnetic point-type separation mechanism, this kind of separation mechanism has the advantages of micro-impact, non-polluting, and reusable on the ground, and is an important breakthrough in the field of aircraft locking and releasing technology. The satellite's power supply system uses the graphene battery power supply developed by Dongguan Gonghe Electronics Co., Ltd., which can instantly release large currents, has good temperature adaptability, long ring life, and high discharge depth, meeting the power supply requirements of electromagnetic separation mechanisms.
