Gonghe Electronics was invited to participate in "Lingnan Science Forum·Bay Area Innovation Forum"

On June 19, 2020, the second phase of "Lingnan Science Forum·Bay Area Innovation Forum" was held at Guangdong Science Center. Yang Jun, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of Guangdong Science and Technology Department, Lu Jingui, Director of Guangdong Science Center, and Lin Ping, Secretary of the Party Committee attended the event. "Lingnan Science Forum·Bay Area Innovation Forum" is a series of scientific innovation forums organized under the guidance of Guangdong Science and Technology Department and Guangdong Science and Technology Association. The theme of this issue of the forum is "New Energy·New Power·New Future—Guangdong Province New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation and Development Practice and Exploration", organized by Guangdong Science Center, Guangdong Productivity Promotion Center, Southern Metropolis Daily, Guangdong Science and Technology Information Research and Sun Yat-sen University.

Deputy Director Yang Jun introduced in the “Technology and Innovation Express” section of the forum that since 2018, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology has fully implemented the spirit of General Secretary Jinping’s important speech on strengthening key core technologies. A series of fruitful work has been carried out in the field of new energy vehicle technology innovation.

This forum focuses on the technological innovation and development of new energy vehicles in Guangdong Province. Through the release and interpretation of relevant research results and science and technology policies, it gathers government, industry, university and research parties to discuss technological development routes, and provides countermeasures and measures to further promote the technological innovation and development of Guangdong’s new energy vehicle industry. The proposal has received strong support from authoritative and well-known experts in the country and great attention from all walks of life.

In the “Science and Innovation Dialogue” session, Liu Sizhi, Chairman of Gonghe Electronics, as a questioning representative, discussed the topic of the application of supercapacitors in new energy vehicles with academician Ye Siyu, economic adviser to the Governor of Guangdong Province and technical director of Hongji Chuangneng. Academician Ye pointed out that supercapacitors. As a new type of energy storage device, it can be widely used in new energy vehicles, especially in the field of hydrogen fuel cells.
